Barnstormer Baseball Cards Sends a RAK

A RAK arrived in my mailbox this week. A RAK stands for Random Act of Kindness, and Barnstormer Baseball Cards was the sender. Barnstormer is a father and son team of Jeff and Cole from Kansas.

Take a look at Barnstormer Baseball Cards and hit subscribe to their YouTube channel. Take a look at a giveaway Jeff and Cole did for hitting 200 subscribers.

Jeff reached out and offered to send some Cubs baseball cards my way. Four cards came and I was quite impressed with the contents of the envelope.

There was a 2018 Topps Update Gold Justin Wilson.

In 2019, Topps stamped a 150 years of baseball logo as a parallel in the set.

Here’s a Pedro Strop…who recently returned to the Cubs after being released by the Cincinnati Reds earlier this season.

A hit! How about this. An autograph from Stadium Club. Dillon Maples rookie autograph.

And then my favorite card of the bunch. I’ve spoken ad nauseum about my favorite player Javier Baez including working for the Peoria Chiefs when he made his full season pro baseball debut and the history behind my Javy Baez fandom.

This is a Father’s Day insert from 2018 Topps….BUT…..it’s numbered to 50. This Javier Baez card is serial numbered 15/50. Very cool!

A great RAK from Jeff and Cole. Thanks so much for the Cubs baseball cards, and with these four cards added to my collection it has grown to 499,055 Cubs cards. The chase to 500,000 Cubs baseball cards is in sight.
