Vance Law Sends Some Cubs Autographs

Last week I found Vance Law had a twitter feed. I mentioned him in a recent post, and he reached out and sent me a message.

Law was one of my favorite Cubs players, but didn’t spend too much time with the team. He played in 281 games with the Chicago Cubs in 1988 and 1989. He was a National League All Star in 1988.

That was his best season hitting .293, 11 home runs, 78 RBI, and 29 doubles.

Vance went above and beyond by sending me TEN autographed cards in a Cubs uniform.

This was very cool and unexpected. A great package to open on a Sunday after returning from Pearl Jam’s concert in Chicago.

Note: these cards were included in Sunday’s post .
